(Due to continuing limitations due to the pandemic, this is a private meet for members of the gym and PRs team. Public registration was not offered. We hope next year that we can be back to normal and return to our normal 60 lifter Springfield Showdown!)

DESCRIPTION: The 2021 Springfield Showdown is a Raw, Full Powerlifting Meet (all 3 lifts). All Weight Classes and Divisions will be contested. Raw only. No Equipped. No Bench Only.
***Currently no spectators will be allowed (will continue to monitor to see if this can change). 1 coach per lifter will be allowed in the facility.
CAPPED AT 28 LIFTERS. ENTRY DEADLINE MARCH 13, 2021
Medals will be awarded to the top 3 lifters (male and female) based off GL points.
Team Award will be determined from top 3 lifters combined GL points.

IMPORTANT: There will be no USAPL Memberships sold or renewed at the meet. You must have a valid 2021 USAPL Membership to compete. Proof of USAPL Membership IS REQUIRED BY PRIOR TO COMPETITION DAY. On your honor as an athlete you have not used any strength inducing drugs as part of your training during the last 36 months prior to the date of this meet to be eligible, nor have you used any prescription diuretics or psycho-motor stimulants during the 7 days prior to this meet.
At least 10% of all lifters will be tested by urinalysis. Banned substances include but are not limited to anabolic steroids, natural and/or synthetic growth hormones. If you are on any medications, please verify if that substance is permissible or not. The complete list of banned substances is available on the website of the World Anti- Doping Agency.
All equipment must conform to USA Powerlifting rules and fall within the technical specifications of the IPF approved list. You can download that HERE.

***Subject to change. Based on current situation, 2 sessions with 14 lifters and 1 flight each session is the plan. But if the situation improves and allows for it, we will condense to 1 session and 2 flights.
