Meet Recap: Natalie competed at the IPF World Championships, where she was able to take 5th place in the 57kg class! Natalie was able to round out the day with a 380lb. squat, 242lb. bench press, and a 457lb. deadlift for a 1079lb. total. This was arguably the most competitive and deepest battle the 57kg class has had, and I know Natalie was excited to be back here competing with the best after the hurdles over the past year. It came down to a very close battle with Bobbie and Sovannphaktra for 4th place, and it was a fun little lot number game with Sovannphaktra in particular on the 3rd deadlift. Natalie had bodyweight advantage on both competitors, so 210kg was the call to try to tie Bobbie on total, but win on bodyweight. Unfortunately Natalie had a slight callous tear on her 2nd deadlift and grip wasn’t quite there for her 3rd attempt, but still was an awesome day in the build back to regaining that title! A big thank you to Sioux-z and Trey for the help with Natalie on the day!
