The way our pelvis orients plays a large role in the relative access to range of motion we can achieve in the squat and deadlift at the hip joint. In this video, I break down what is anterior vs. posterior orientation of the pelvis, and how those correlate with the movement of the sacrum. I look at how anterior vs posterior orientation affects the relative access we have to internal and external rotation of the hip joint.
