Meet Recap: With his first meet back after a long road of recovery, Adam came in strong, finishing with a 595lb. Squat, 397lb. Bench, and 628lb. Deadlift for a 1620lb. total, 450 wilks. This was a really cool experience for me as a coach, knowing Adam for so long and having the chance about 8 weeks out to start coaching him. He was in significant pain and on the verge of possibly having to back out, but within just weeks we were able to get him out of pain and actually able to display the strength he was capable of. Really excited about the future, as we have found a great foundation on how he needs to train, and have no doubt there is going to be some serious progress going forward. Be on the lookout for a 700lb. Deadlift in his future.
